It’s a blistering hot Saturday afternoon and I find myself in a queue mouthing words that would make my dad proud. “Ek Se Mera Kya Hoga,” I whisper to the man behind the ticket counter at Moviestar. Slightly worrying is the fact that a senior citizen type nana-nani have also bought tickets for the same movie. What a way to celebrate their 50th Anniversary!
As B grade movies go, this one’s a Yash Raj release of its genre. Directed by TLV Prasad of hits like BHAIRAV, AAG HI AAG & SULTAAN, TAUBA TAUBA (surely you know these movies), it stars, no superstars Payal Rohatgi (MEN NOT ALLOWED, FUN, MAZAA MAZAA) whose bosom you’ve definitely leched at as it stares at you from posters stuck on electric meter boxes.
